Milwaukee digital refractometer
MA882 measures% Brix. The MA882 digital refractometer is an optical instrument based on the measurement of the refractive index of a solution. The measurement of the refractive index is simple and quick and provides a recognized method for analyzing the sugar content. After performing a simple and rapid calibration with distilled or deionized water, the instrument measures the refractive index of the sample in a few seconds. Digital refractometers eliminate any uncertainty associated with mechanical refractometers and can be easily transported for field measurements.
The Milwaukee refractometer uses international and recognized references for unit conversions and temperature compensation.
The temperature is displayed together with the sample measurement on the large two-level display, in ° C and ° F. Useful messages, icons and the indication of low battery are also displayed.
